Sold Out Online Event Raises Record $250,000 in New Tuition Assistance Funds for Fall Term
(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Catholic Education Foundation of the Archdiocese of Louisville (the “Foundation”) today announced that its second annual online bourbon raffle event generated $250,000 in tuition assistance funding for Catholic school students in need when they return to school in the fall.
Today’s exciting livestreamed drawing produced 20 winners who will claim their respective share of the 96-bottle rare bourbon raffle prizes.
Foundation President Richard A. Lechleiter exclaimed, “Wow, what a fantastic outcome for our Catholic school families who are now reaching out to us for help this fall! This event alone will create a Catholic education experience for over 200 students whose families who can’t afford it – we can’t wait to do it even bigger and better next year!”
“This event was so much fun! And we couldn’t have pulled it off without the incredible generosity of folks who donated this amazing bourbon inventory for the benefit of our young students. What a debt of gratitude we owe to each of you.”
