The 2011 Salute to Catholic School Alumni dinner was held on Wednesday, March 23 at the Galt House Hotel & Suites. The Salute dinner celebrates the tradition of Catholic school excellence by spotlighting the diverse contributions made by Catholic school alumni. This year’s dinner hosted a sell-out crowd of 2,000 guests and netted over $350,000. Monies from the dinner will assist the Catholic Education Foundation in its mission of helping needy families who wish to send their children to Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Salute to Catholic School Alumni
Annually, the Catholic Education Foundation recognizes individuals who reflect the highest ethical standards and exemplify in their lives the values and teachings of Catholic education. The Salute is designed to spotlight, for the civic and corporate communities, the impact that Catholic schools have had on the development of many of greater Louisville?s most significant leaders. The Salute recognition event consists of a dinner followed by a keynote speaker and then a presentation of awards to the Distinguished Honorees.
